全国少数民族文艺会演是经国务院批准定期举办的少数民族重大文化活动,自1980年至2016年已经成功在京举办五届,对于促进民族团结、繁荣民族文化事业、引领民族文艺创作方向、培养民族文艺人才发挥了重要作用。

The Ethnic Minority Art Festival of China is a grand cultural event of ethnic minorities, which is authorized by the State Council to be carried out on a regular basis. Having been held for 5 times from 1980 to 2016 in Beijing, the festival plays a vital role in advancing national solidarity, enriching ethnic cultural undertakings, guiding the direction of ethnic culture and art innovation and cultivating the talent in the concerned field.

经国务院批准,第六届全国少数民族文艺会演由国家民族事务委员会、文化和旅游部、国家广播电视总局、中央广播电视总台和北京市人民政府联合主办,于2021年8月31日至9月24日在京举行。会演以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导,全面贯彻习近平总书记关于加强和改进民族工作的重要思想,以铸牢中华民族共同体意识为主线,突出各族儿女“听党话、感党恩、跟党走”,集中展示党的十八大以来我国各民族文化传承、保护、创新取得的最新成果,体现各民族广泛交往交流交融的生动局面,全面推进构筑中华民族共有精神家园建设。会演从全国各地遴选了42台参演剧目,包括歌舞晚会、话剧、音乐剧、戏曲、杂技等,其中部分剧目将陆续在本专栏中推出。

During August 31 to September 24 of 2021, the 6th Ethnic Minority Art Festival of China was held in Beijing. Approved by the State Council, it was co-hosted by National Ethnic Affairs Commission, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, National Radio and Television Administration, China Media Group and the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality.

The festival takes Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guidance, fully implements General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on strengthening and improving ethnic work, focuses on forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation. It highlights the picture that all ethnic groups in China follow the leadership of the Communist Party of China(CPC), and are grateful to the party. It showcases the latest achievements of cultural inheritance, preservation and innovation of all ethnic groups in China since the 18th National Congress of CPC, displays the vivid picture that all ethnic groups communicate and exchange with each other, fully promotes the fostering of the sense of belonging of the Chinese nation. During the festival, 42 performances including galas, theatres, operas, musical dramas and acrobatics are selected from across China, of which some will be presented consecutively in Colorful China Online.
